The Beaumont

I stayed at The Beaumont for 2 nights this weekend, and couldn’t fault it! Barbara & Steve were so lovely and welcoming and the place is so lovely and peaceful. I will definitely be returning. Thankyou again x

We had originally been advised by the wedding organisers to book into the Holiday Inn (just next door!), but were unimpressed by their reticence to confirm a twin bedded room so found The Beaumont almost by accident. How glad we were! Our room was very clean and comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water all supplied- along with a very good breakfast selection served in an attractive conservatory. Instead of an impersonal service from a chain of hotels, we had a warm welcome from our hosts Barbara and Steve who couldn’t have been more obliging. Thoroughly recommended to anyone looking to stay in Sittingbourne.

We stayed her for the night for Chase the Sun cycle ride. Warm, comfy, clean.Despite leaving at 3am, a goody bag of breakfast and mars bars were laid out for when we left.The mars bar was a life saver during some low point on the ride - thank you!

Always stay at The Beaumont when I visit my family and we are always looked after the rooms are clean and very comfortable the breakfast is always excellent no matter what you order with a good selection of cereals and fruit Steve and Barbara are such nice people and will help with anything nothing is to much they are wonderful hosts I will always come back and stay at the Beaumont

First of all the hosts Steve and Barbara are very warm and welcoming they make a great effort in greeting every guess and given them a little guide around their accommodation which you never seem to receive very often these days. My room was a single with a shower and a separate WC which suited me. As I was in the area for work the most important things are a comfortable bed and a decent shower both of which were satisfied. A full breakfast is included within the price of the accommodation however I didn't have the time to fully enjoy but kindly enough I was offered a breakfast to go option which was perfect. Parking is free and plentiful. I have also left a review on booking.com so I guess I am repeating myself but anyway thanks Steve & Barbara it was good to meet a very social-able pair.

Extremely clean comfortable room,piping hot shower,comfortable bed,ample secure off road parking,check in was easy,i regret I couldn't have breakfast as I had to leave super early but my fellow guests told me it was delicious,i would definitely recommend and usually stay in branded hotels when working in the area,but this will definitely be my first port of call.Thank you

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Beaumont. Barbara and Steve are very welcoming, friendly and warm.The place is spotless and our room was very clean too. The towels are fresh and fluffy. Bathrobes are provided.Our room was well heated which made it very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning: there is plenty to choose from. All the ingredients are fresh. I would definitely recommend the Beaumont to anyone looking to stay in Sittingbourne. Hello, I want to say how fantastic my stay was before Christmas. I was travelling for work and found that once I stepped through the door I was greeted with smiley faces and shown to my room after a lovely introduction to The Beaumont. A lovely, clean, warm room. The breakfast was delicious and both Barbara and Steve were friendly, efficient, kind, talkative and genuinely lovely people. I will 100% return and try out the bigger room next time, I had the single with ensuite and it had everything you required. It was cosy and warm (weather at the time was chilly) even had a fluffy blanket if needed. Top recommendation for fish and chips too.

We had the good fortune to stay here for 3 nights when we were visiting our grandchildren. We stayed in room 4 and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Best sleep ever. Steve and Barbara are fantastic host's making us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was outstanding. It lasted us all day. Fabulous good quality produce and lot's of choice. This is the second time I have stayed at the Beaumont, this time I returned with family. We received a warm welcome and our rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious. On our last day we had to leave before breakfast and were provided with a lovely packed breakfast to take on our way. Barbara and Steve were wonderful hosts who, whilst discrete, constantly checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. Would definitely return. Thank you.

Convenient location for our trip and easy to find.Friendly welcome from the hosts and excellent breakfast.Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.We stayed in room 4 which was in the front of the building on a busy main road so it was noisy with the window open (it was a very hot day) so if you're a light sleeper then you may want to request a room at the back.However, very comfortable and clean.

Stayed here for one night when we went to a wedding at The Barn Yard. Steve and Barbara were both very welcoming and helpful - advising us on local cab firms - and our room had a nice comfy double bed with a small, but very servicable, shower en suite together with toiletries. There were also complimentary tea and coffee facilities and bottled water! There was also a nice lounge area downstairs if you wanted to escape from the room to read or relax but we weren’t there long enough to use it. Breakfast was served in a lovely conservatory overlooking prettily planted pots and the full English was delicious, hot and tasty!To the rear of the property was a small courtyard garden with little seating areas and was very nicely planted in a cottage garden style.We much prefer to stay in a more homely and personal residence when having a short stay rather than a large impersonal hotel. Barbara and Steve certainly run an exceptional B&B and we would happily recommend it for short stays in this area. Faversham is only a short car ride away and is a lovely historic market town for those that wish to make the most of their time away!

We had a very pleasant two night stay. Very friendly and helpful hosts- Barbara made us a couple of rose (from the garden) button holes for the wedding we were attending. Comfortable room and varied breakfast menu including fresh fruit. Sitting in the garden and breakfast in the conservatory both delightful places to relax.

I made a booking knowing that it was a single room with separate bathroom/toilet and a reputation for a good breakfast and that is what I got. Except the breakfast was excellent! I know some people like an en-suite so just check which room you are booking and you won't have cause for disappointment. Great welcome and interaction from the hosts/staff. I am not sure if the facilities description says the bath is very small - but it is,as is the TV in Room 1..maybe it could be a smidge bigger so text can be read from the bed?

This is the 3rd time in 8 months we have stayed here and every time has been excellant. Easy to find on the A2 and with lots of eating places near by for an evening meal.

The owners were amazingly feeindly and gave great advice of where to eat out. I've stayed at the Beaumont a few times now and is my go-to accommodation when I need to stop over. There is a Holiday Inn right next door but I prefer the character of The Beaumont and the warm welcome from Steve and Barbara. It's conveniently located for the town and has off street parking.

We had a two night stay.Room was very nice, comfortable and clean. It was very cold weatherbut the room was warm with extra fan heater if needed. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and Barbara and Steve were welcoming and friendly.

We received a warm welcome into this lovely B&B.We were lucky and were upgraded to a bigger room which was a very pleasant surprise.The room was large, very clean with ample wall sockets, built in wardrobe and plenty of drawer space.The bathroom had a shower, wc and wash handbasin with good lighting.There was a choice of where you could sit at breakfast - either within the house or in the conservatory which overlooked the garden.The menu choice was excellent and all food cooked freshly to order.Fresh fruit salad was available every day and a wide variety of cereals.Nothing was too much trouble if you wanted any variation.Steve and Barbara work very hard to offer a quality B&B which is super clean, comfortable and welcoming.We would whole heartedly recommend this to people who need to stay in the Sittingbourne area for any reason.

This was my second time staying at The Beaumont, and if there is another visit to Sittingbourne, I will definitely stay here again. It is located at a walking distance of 10-15 minutes from the train station and the town center, with a supermarket nearby and a pub and a chippy. The room was clean and cosy, with delicate toiletries, towels and a bathrobe. The breakfast was delicious in a lovely dinning-room and the owners friendly and helpful. Definitely worth staying.

Have only stayed twice (whilst attending music events) and must say this is my favourite place.Steve and Barbara are such friendly and accommodating hosts & their rooms perfect. Love the breakfast, too.

The location was great although the entrance to the car park is very narrow and windy you wouldn't be able to access it on a large car .The accommodation is very friendly and clean if a little plain.The hosts are excellent and the breakfast was great.My only real criticism is that the room very small and cramped apart from that it was great.

We were in Sittingbourne for a wedding. The Beaumont was the right choice for our two night stay. It had a car park beside a pretty garden are and a decent room with storage space and en-suite.Steve and Barbara were attentive and helpful hosts and I would have no hesitation in satying here again.

Steve and Barbara are exceptional hosts, very welcoming and friendly. The building is old and historic and it is kept spotlessly clean. There is the usual range of breakfasts, including cereals, fresh fruit and a lovely grilled full English. Off road parking too!

Arrived late afternoon to a friendly welcome, a quick check in & a nice, clean, comfortable room. Good Wifi & room to do some work. After a good nights sleep even with the British weather being unbearable hot had an excellent breakfast served in nice surroundings. If in the area again wouldn't hesitate to book again. The Beaumont was clean and comfortable and perfect for myself where I was just needing a shower and a good bed. Both owners greeted me on arrival showed me my room and was left in peace. Room was cleaned daily and a bottle of water left every day which was good as weather was really hot. Recommend for a buisness stay or holiday break.

I stayed at the Beaumont whilst working in sittingbourne. The hosts Steve and Barbara were welcoming and friendly.The b&b is very relaxed, it's a convenient 10 minute walk into the town centre. Parking at the property is easily accessible. Both the building and rooms are immaculately clean and beds are comfortable too. Also a great breakfast.Thanks for a wonderful stay Steve and Barbara!

We were greeted by Steve and Barbara, very friendly couple, we explained that we had booked a cab to a wedding reception through a local cab company, and they stated that the cab would drive right up to the back/reception area to collect us, very reassuring. We were shown to our room, very clean, plenty of drawers to put stuff in and a wardrobe with hangers. Lovely toiletries and even a dressing gown. Excellent value.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay that offers that personal touch, then the Beaumont Bed & Breakfast has this to offer in abundance. The accommodation is highly maintained, with clear attention to details. The owners were very warm, welcoming, attentive and all around genuinely lovely people. The location is ideal for accessing amenities and the accommodation provided is comfy and like a home away from home. Breakfast hit the spot! And they also called me after my departure, to advise me that I had left some belongings behind. I recommend visiting this beautiful Bed & Breakfast if ever in or around Sittingbourne.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed it so rebooked to visit Sittingbourne a family weekend.Barbara and Steve are very welcoming and keen to make your stay pleasant. We had a lively room facing the main road but the double glazing made it quiet, and warm. There's a lovely choice for breakfast, including veggie and good bread and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed a month before Christmas and they had put 2 beautifully decorated Christmas trees up, very festive. The property is immaculately clean, the bed linen pure cotton and bed very comfortable. We have stayed in a lot of hotels, this is one of our favourite B n Bs!!

Both Steve and Barbara were not too busy to help and advise of places to go and see. There love of providing the best shows through from excellent cooked breakfast to cleanliness and helpfulness.The rooms were well equipped if you run short no trouble to provide additional tea, coffee, shower gel etc.Only the early mornings were a bit earlier than expected for a holiday but breakfast at 8am gave us a good start to the day.Property well situated in Kent to visit the coast line and Canterbury all with in a manageable drive each day. Local fish and chip restaurant and Turkish where again excellent.

This was a very friendly, comfortable place to stay. The breakfast was particularly good - we had the full English, but their were lots of other choices.

My husband and I had a lovely stay . The Beaumont was very clean, breakfast was very fresh , hospitality was exceptional they were such a lovely couple, would definitely stay there again

I had a very pleasant two-night stay at the Beaumont in early September 2021. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were all one could wish for and Steve and Barbara friendly and accommodating, working hard to ensure that all guests enjoyed their time there.

Highly recommend the Beaumont as an overnight stop-over for onwards travel to the Tunnel. Very clean, private and safe parking, excellent breakfast and great hosts. Walking distance into the town centre, so ideal for restaurants etc.

Staying at the Beaumont for one night was as expected from the description of the place. The owners were very polite and accommodating. Because we required two single rooms, these did not have an ensuite toilet but did include shower and wash basin, so we had to leave the room to access a toilet reserved only for the room user. For one night, I considered this satisfactory. Breakfast was excellent quality and enjoyable. If I needed to stay again, I probably would. There is some road noise, but that can't be helped.

The Hosts were very welcoming and went out of their way to assist us when we asked a question.The room was very clean and comfortable.The breakfast had a very good choice and they were willing to adjust items to our need. We thoroughly recommend this establishment.

It is nice cozy place with friendly stuff. They make you feel very welcome and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety to choose from.

This was our first stay in a B&B and it was lovely. Steve & Barbara where the perfect hosts, really helpful, really friendly and they looked after us. The room was very nice, very clean and comfy and the breakfast was superb!

No complaints whatsoever, fantastic breakfast and brilliant service.

I stayed at Beaumont Hotel for a night in June. I can highly recommend the hotel, everything was perfect - good location, nice clean room and bathroom, hearty tasty breakfast, speedy WiFi and private parking. There is also a nice quiet garden with tables and benches where you can enjoy a relaxing evening drink. The guests are really nice and made me feel welcome and taken care of. I would definitely recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

I’m so glad to have found the Beaumont B&BI felt so comfortable and had a great night sleep in the most comfy bed! The place is super clean and the breakfast to top it all was perfect! I will definitely be returning. The hosts Barbara & Steve are really the most welcoming lovely couple.

It was a pleasure to stay here, the room was really clean and cosy. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and everyone working there was welcoming and helpful!

My second three-night stay here. Working in Canterbury and Maidstone, Sittingbourne is a convenient mid-way location. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet and Steve and Barbara are very friendly and helpful hosts. If I'm working nearby again in the future, I'll happily return to The Beaumont.

Our first visit randomly selected on Booking.com.Considering we are in very difficult times with Covid19 the hostsdid well to accommodate guests under government guidelines.The B&B is in a good central location.Good room & very nice breakfast. Very happy to return to the Beaumont & would recommend.

Nothing to say accept excellent 5 stars well deserved breakfast well cooked good choice sets you up for the day hosts friendly & approachable nothing to much trouble beds so so comfy never slept so well rooms very clean and well decorated good hot shower choice of drinks in room what more can I say

We stayed at The Beaumont for two nights in December, we found the owners Barbara and Steve very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, and the rooms were very clean as was the whole property. There is also a lounge to relax in with a large screen TV.Very good value for money, and we will be returning again in February.
